- I'm at my best in the kitchen. Or on the phone with relatives back home while sitting in my Nana's chair, blowing smoke out my bedroom window and swirling my tequila, neat, in a tumbler. My imagination runs free -- A certain song, sequence of moments, or aroma can bring me to an alternate world more mystical and sensual than my own. I just passed my 1-year-back mark and I'm fully satisfied being back in the city and itching to leave again at the same time. For that, I will start writing again. And don't be sad: you're young enough to revisit Sud America yet again in your life and see it from a whole different perspective. I'm here to tell you that it's true: old age is NOT for sissies!
